March 06, 2007Cheap Phone Sex: I Got My Google Letter!!!A few months ago I shared with all of you my thoughts regarding ‘the google situation’. To recap for years since 2000 I have had the number one position in Google for the search term “cheap phone sex”. Last July I dropped completely from the index and could not for the life of me figure out why. As you can imagine that drop completely messed with my bottom line. What is even more disconcerting is that when a site has a number one position for so long and then suddenly disappears phone sex callers think you have gone out of business or something. Not the case. You can surmise how the G-word became the G-word.
Well, about two months after my public letter I got a response from Google. Oh, I was so excited. I called my mother and read the letter to her. I framed the letter earlier this year because although I have not found a solution to my current conundrum words do not begin to describe my appreciation in the fact that A- responded to my questions.
A company as large as Google doesn’t have to explain a damn thing. But they did. I get it. And it’s a good day.
