August 11, 2005I’m Moving!!!Today I got the call from the leasing agent and I am moving! The place is sweet complete with walk-in closets and a sunroom. I am so psyched that I started packing today and the move-in is not until September 30th.
Until I got the call I was pretty ticked because a dear friend was suppose provide a reference and he neglected to do it. To date he has yet to return any of my telephone calls.

Oh the friendship is over. Not because he did not do something for me. I could care less. It was how the situation came to be. I asked him if he would do so and so and he said yes. Now if he couldn’t do it, then he should have said something. AND he had ample time to back out. Instead he played the silent card by not returning calls over the course of five (5) days. So what’s a girl to do? Answer: you handle your own business.
I flew up to South Dakota, reviewed the investment properties myself AND purchased a sweet little Victorian home. In a month I will be a landlord! Can you imagine? Cheryl the landlord?!
On that note for a time I was involved with a very special person BUT he turned out to be a liar – a really big liar. Oh I have caught him in a few whoopers and he always had an excuse, but now his behavior was beginning to interfere with my life and well…he had to go. So,I AM SINGLE AGAIN ! ! !
And, I do not need to remind my regular gawkers about this but 2005 has been a hard year. I have not given up on men but let’s just say that I am no longer looking. He is still on my shit list.
Sometimes I lay awake thinking of all the terrible things I, the keeper of secrets, could do. Let sleeping dogs lay, right? If he doesn’t bother me, then his secrets are safe.
