January 20, 2005Miltary Specials on Friday and EVERY Day for Those OverseasYesterday it snowed. Snow! Please no jokes about Southerners not knowing how to drive in the snow. The weather definitely put a damper on my trip to the lawyer and accountant. Then when I got home it was freezing. It was so cold I actually put on panties. But that wasn't enough so I put on pants and a turtleneck and just as I was about to find a pair of socks to slip on I realized that I needed to turn up the heat. Now I'm back to my regular "uniform".
Yesterday while I was running all over town I got a call from a soldier/marine serving in Iraq and much to my disappointment I missed it. Have I ever told you that in addition to my other weakness I have a soft spot for guys in the Armed Forces? Well to my admirer in Iraq, hi sweetie!
