Earlier this year I shared with each of you that I sponsor several soldiers who are deployed in the theater. For those of you not hip to the jargon the "theater" means war theater, Iraq and/or Afghanistan. The platoon I sponsored last year I am happy to say is back on US soil! Welcome back, baby!
Last week I received a new assignment of 34 soldiers (7 of which are female) and 1 marine. Big hooah! to my troopies and ooh rah! to my marine. I will be supporting these individuals by sending daily cards and letters and weekly care packages. Site Update: Ladies how many times has this happened to you? Football season! Or some ball season! This is the time when your husband, boyfriend or lover completely ignores you. Am I right?
